T.I Clarifies

T.I appeared to have put his foot in his mouth during a VIBE interview by laughing at Tracy Morgan's joke about gays and remarking that people that are against homosexuality should be able to voice their opinion.

"They’re like,‘If you have an opinion against us, we’re gonna shut you down.’ ... That’s not American," T.I. told VIBE. "If you’re gay you should have the right to be gay in peace, and if you’re against it you should have the right to be against it in peace" "It's a lot of attention being cast upon such a small part of the interview, I was really just laughing out loud at a joke that I heard Tracy Morgan say. It just so happened to be in reference to gay people, like excuse my language but 'If you can take a blank then you can take a joke.' I thought that was funny. I believe that you have the right to do whatever you want to do as long as you're not hurting anyone else." He also noted that he did not describe gays as "un-American" but he was referring to specific actions.

Black Eyed Peas officially on Break?!

Following a show in Miami, the Black Eyed Peas are now taking a break but only for a little while. “We always have two cycles of records and then we take a break. And then two cycles of records and then a break,” Will.i.am said “When we take breaks you know, we work on side projects and get our personal stuff in order then come back and make beautiful music.” His fourth solo album, #willpower, will be released next year. Fergie said she’s on “baby bump watch.” “That’s one of the things that we want to do,” she said, referring to starting a family with her husband Josh Duhamel. “I’ve just been touring since 2003 and like anything, things get monotonous and you’re doing the same thing every night. I’d like to go days without wearing makeup and watching my football games. Doing my footwear collection and my fragrances.... Just going where the day takes me.” Apl.de.ap “We’re going to take a little vacation and focus on our personal things,” and Taboo says he "wants to spend some downtime with his growing family."

Bring It On- Daddy Yankee feat. Akon

Mixing it up I like itt!

Daddy Yankee Sued for &820

Daddy Yankee is very popular in South America which is why concert promoter Diego Hernan De Iraola paid Daddy Yankee $820K for six shows in Argentina. The shows were so popular he wanted to add another four shows, and pay the Yankee another $480K. This is where things got confused, according to a suit filed in Florida. A few days before the scheduled tour Yankee asked for the additional money, $480K unfront or else he wouldn't show. Iraola promised to hand over the money when Daddy Yankee arrived in Argentina. Two days before the tour Yankee announced that he wasn't coming, forcing Iraola to cancel all the shows. This was an intense source of stress causing him high blood pressure, nose bleeds and even caused him to bleed from the eyes. So Iraola is asking for the full $820K returned as well as additional compensation for personal and professional damages. No word yet from Daddy Yankee on the situation. WOW!

Mary J. Blige on Heavy D's Death

The rapper affectionately known to the world as the "overweight lover" was very influential in developing Mary J. Blige's talent. In an interview with BET, Mary shared her own fond memories of the fallen hip hop star. “Heavy was always a mentor for all of us," she said. "He was all of our big brother. He always had a word of encouragement. He really was an angel."

TMZ says Heavy D had just returned from shopping and climbed a set of stairs up to his Beverly Hills home when he started having difficulty breathing. Adam Mills, a designer who was in the area and knew the rapper, found Heavy D leaning against their stair railing. Mills tried to help him as others called 911 around 11:25 a.m. Heavy was reportedly conscious and speaking when help arrived. He died shortly after that, around 1 p.m. on Nov. 8 at a Los Angeles hospital.

Bun B on Penn State Scandal

Southern rap star Bun B can speak wisdom on any subject. He was asked about the Penn State pedophilia scandal and said "We gotta protect kids at all costs," Bun told True Stories Radio in a recent interview. "Penn State got a big game against Nebraska this weekend, but who gives a f---, man? They over there letting n---as touch kids. So at the end of the day, I respect Joe Paterno and his legacy. I respect Penn State and everything that they have done and their national championship. But what I don't and never could respect is n---as letting children be out there… Kids can't protect themselves. A 10-year old kid can't fight a grown man if he tried to sexually abuse him."
